Restorative Yoga + Somatic Breathwork is a deeply calming and meditative practice that invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom through the power of breath and movement. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, this practice focuses on long-held, passive poses that gently stretch and release tension from the deeper connective tissues—such as the fascia, ligaments, and joints. By integrating somatic breathwork, we unlock the body’s natural healing potential, improving flexibility, joint mobility, and cultivating a profound sense of relaxation and peace.

This practice creates space for somatic healing by tuning into the breath and body’s sensations. As you focus on the breath, you will begin to soften into the stretches, releasing deeply held tension and creating a sense of ease and release throughout your body and mind.

What to Expect:

Longer Holds: Each pose is held for 3-5 minutes, allowing your body to gradually release built-up tension and deepen into relaxation. These extended holds invite mindfulness and foster somatic awareness, helping you notice subtle shifts in sensation and breath.
Gentle Stretches: Passive stretches target the deeper tissues—particularly in the hips, spine, and shoulders—releasing stored stress and tension while improving flexibility.
Somatic Breathwork: Focused, conscious breathing techniques will help you stay grounded, calm the nervous system, and guide you into a deeper somatic experience. The breath serves as both an anchor and a vehicle for releasing tension, quieting the mind, and promoting relaxation.
Calming Atmosphere: Soft music, dim lighting, and gentle guidance create a serene space that nurtures healing and invites you to unwind, reset, and restore.

Come as you are.

Wear comfortable clothing, and bring any props you may need to deepen your relaxation—like a blanket, eye mask, or cushion. This is a time for you to nurture yourself, calm your mind, and restore a lasting sense of peace and balance.
